test case study

The old website no longer reflected the companys service depth, maturity, or target market. We reframed the project around trust, information architecture, and mobile usability instead of treating it as a visual refresh alone.

The challenge

Nova Industrial Systems approached us with a familiar problem. Their business had evolved significantly, but the website still represented an earlier version of the company. Service pages were thin, the homepage tried to say everything at once, and the mobile experience made complex capabilities feel harder to understand than they actually were. Sales conversations were increasingly happening with larger clients, yet the website did not project the maturity or clarity needed to support those evaluations.

The leadership team knew they needed a redesign, but the deeper issue was structural. The website lacked a clear hierarchy between industries served, service capabilities, and differentiators. Content leaned on generic claims, and the frontend experience was visually inconsistent and slower than it needed to be on mobile devices.

The response

We redesigned the website around audience priorities rather than internal assumptions. The information architecture was restructured so visitors could understand what Nova does, who it serves, and why its process is reliable within the first few screens. We introduced sharper message framing, cleaner capability pages, stronger use of proof, and a more disciplined visual system that reflected the companys technical competence.

The most important shift was moving from a brochure-style layout to a trust-building system that matched enterprise evaluation behavior.

On the frontend side, we simplified layout patterns, improved responsive behavior, optimized media usage, and reduced unnecessary interface friction so the site felt calmer and easier to scan.

The result

A particularly important change was the treatment of service depth. Previously, several capabilities were compressed into short paragraphs that did little to distinguish the company. We expanded key service pages with process explanations, industry context, implementation detail, and softer conversion prompts designed for a B2B audience that often researches before making direct contact.

After launch, the client reported a meaningful improvement in lead quality. Sales conversations became more focused because prospects arrived with a clearer understanding of service scope and industry fit. The internal team also found it easier to extend the website because component patterns were more predictable and content structure was more intentional.
